Windays 2011 - SQL Server 2008 R2 Compression ( Croatian )
With SQL Server 2008 R2 came a new feature - compression. This was my first shot at Level 400 lecture at Widnays conferences, I tried to show how this features works under the hood...and by my opinion it was a good lecture. To use this feature you have to have a Developer/Enterprise version of SQL Server. Entire lecture with examples is in the download file bellow.

Kulendayz 2010 - SQL Server 2008 R2 Business Inteligence ( Croatian )
Kulendayz is the best IT conference in Croatia....period. Last year I held lectures with Dean Vitner about SQL Server as the platform of choice for both transactional and analytical database. For my part I held a course in business inteligence, it was made as an overview of what SQL Server can do in this field and how he does it.

sklopu ovogodišnje jubilarne desete Windays konferencije imao sam predavanje o LINQToXML-u, implementaciji LINQ-a na rad sa XML dokumentima. Cilj predavanja bio je prikazati prednosti nove tehnologije u odnosu na "tradicionalni" način rada sa XML-om iz .NET-a 2.0 na nizu demo programa. Prezentacija i cijela demo aplikacija nalaze se na listi programa za preuzimanje na dnu stranice.

In year 2009 I worked for a company called crmT, and it held its anual BI conference (that year in Antunovic hotel in Zagreb). My job was to demonstrate solutions for some usual problems we face in the development of business inteligence solutions, primarily in the ETL/modelling phase.
