Occupation: Business inteligence consultant, IT software architect
Interests: Economy ( theory and practice ), all kinds of IT stuff.
Personal challenge: Be a better person ( and learn to play tennis better :) ).

I was born in Osijek in 1979. After completing FER, Zagreb in 2004 I worked for a large, by Croatian standards, IT company for about two and a half years at which time I learned all the things I didn't learn at faculty :) After that I worked in few other Croatian companies on projects in different business areas ( banking, telecom, health care, etc. ) developing and implementing web, integration and BI solutions for different companies. I have a lot of experience working with people in different business processes and also posses significant knowledge in field of project management and general economy. I also hold lectures at local IT conferences and IT community groups. From time to time I hold a certification course for CompTIA Project+. Recently I finished Cotrugli MBA which gave me a new understanding of how things work ( and I also met some great people there ). In two or three years I also plan to finish my PhD which I had to pause for two years when I received a partial MBA scholarship.

Professional challenge: After so many years in operational IT, with knowledge and experience gained I believe my next step should be in the field of either line management or international IT consulting, while working for the best IT players on the market.
